Leading comparative website provider chooses Global Response for Fulfillment services

 

When a leading comparative website provider was formed in 2003 as a solution to a fragmented and confusing broadband marketplace, orders for the modems and routers were fulfilled internally. But soon the volume of orders was clearly growing and becoming unmanageable.

 

Global Response has been a long term partner, storing products, processing orders and returns, and assisting in the refurbishing process. We store multiple styles of modems and routers in the warehouse, and in order to not tie in resources in inventory, we hold a low inventory count and receive weekly deliveries using Just In Time Inventory (JIT).

 

Orders are handled in the Call Center, where clients’ credit card payments are processed. From there, the orders are placed on the Global Response secured ftp site for daily order processing. The orders are then downloaded and processed. Invoices and packing slips are printed, and orders picked packed and shipped.

 

The Global Response online reporting tool is used extensively for an accurate inventory count, and for order details and invoicing.
